It’s been the same thing every Monday night for as long as I can remember – football. But tonight, there’s nothing. No sports. No cheering. No Monday Night Football. I’m honestly a little bummed out about it.
So, why is there no NFL game tonight? Well, wholesale nfl jerseys it’s a complex answer. The most immediate response is simple: Covid-19. This deadly virus has put a stop to everything, cheap jerseys from china even the big game. But why?
First and cheap nfl jerseys from china foremost, the health of the players and their fans is the priority. In the current pandemic, having a packed stadium would be a huge health risk and a way to spread the virus. There would also be massive attendance issues due to the closure of state borders and other travel restrictions. And then there’s also the fact that football teams would need to temporarily relocate, and it’s hard to find another stadium that can accommodate such a large game.
On top of this, there’s the stop-start nature of the season due to the pandemic. Even if there was a large stadium that could host a game, wholesale jerseys from china teams would then have to get time to practice and prepare for the game, and since it’s so haphazard, cheap nfl jerseys this has been hard to manage.
It’s not just football that’s been affected either. Pretty much all sports have been put on hold due to Covid-19 – which is really sad. And even after games start getting held again, it won’t be the same as before, since most stadiums will be operating at limited capacity.
I can only imagine what it would have been like if a football game was on tonight. I sure do miss the cheering, the excitement, the tailgating and the trash-talking. And of course, I miss the actual game too. There’s just something special about Monday Night Football, wholesale jerseys from china and its absence leaves this feeling of emptiness.
So, as much as I’m looking forward to the return of the NFL and my weekly dose of football, tonight just serves as a reminder of all the ways Covid-19 is still impacting us on a daily basis.
My next question is when will things return to normal? It’s sad to think that something like football can’t even happen when it usually does, but now it’s a hard reality we have to live with. There’s really nothing we can do about it, cheap nfl jerseys from china which is what makes it so disheartening.
A lot of fans also made the effort to plan trips and book tickets to see their teams play, but now they have to accept refunds and wholesale jerseys from china plan other holidays for next year. And the players – no game means no salary.
So, while I would really love to watch an NFL game tonight, cheap jerseys from china a part of me understands why there isn’t one. We may have to wait a little while longer for cheap jerseys from china all of our favorite sports to return, but hopefully the wait will be over soon.
